In the dark of the midnight
Have I oft hid my face,
While the storm howls above me,

Last night I had a hard time sleeping. I heard the rumble of thunder in the distance and the shadow of leaves on our window blowing in the wind and I was reminded of this song that Mosie Lister wrote.
It was a reminder that we need to look to the Lord in faith no matter what kind of storm we are going through.
It seems hard sometimes. We both struggle at times and it was especially hard today. We did not receive a good report on Jerry's blood count today. The doctor said it could be the effects of the chemo, but he was concerned. We go back to the doctor next Tuesday for another blood count check and he will schedule the next chemo treatment.
It will be the first of October before Jerry has another bone marrow biopsy to see if this chemo is holding back the leukemia.
Please pray that we'll have the faith, grace, and strength we need to weather this storm.

Logically it makes since that the blood count would be low, similar to the way it was after the first harsh chemo. The time periods are similar too. We're praying and keeping faith in God that this is the case. We are also praying that God gives you comfort, peace, and strength during all of these times. We miss you and Love you both so much. Sending you days..
