This afternoon I kept singing the words to this song over and over.
The news was not good at the oncologist today. Jerry's platelets have dropped some more. They didn't continue the chemo treatment for right now. The oncologist doesn't think the chemo is holding back the leukemia, but we won't know for sure until they do a biopsy. It will probably be done at Duke. We're just waiting to hear from the doctors at this time as to their next step.
But we're going to keep pressing on!

What a blessing and inspiration you are to us! We are sorry that the news from the doctor was not good. Just remember God knew about it on September 6 because He was already in your tomorrow. We can rest in that blessed assurance because he has already sifted through whatever He sends into our lives.

God already knew that was going happen and He already knows what the next step is going to be. That is really comforting to know He is in control of all of it. I know it is not what we wanted to hear. We serve an almighy God who loves us so much. His love is what keeps us going! I am praying for you and love you both. Hope to see you Sunday! Love, Mary
