We are so thankful for our family. Our sons have been there for us and loving us and other family members have been so great. And we have some very special friends praying for us and supporting us through this.
Our Pastor, Tim Butler, preached on "What to do with Your Burdens" in the AM service on June 12. After telling the church family what we were going through and the long battle that we were facing, he invited the church to come forward and show their support with a handshake or a hug. It was one of the most amazing services we ever experienced.
Thanks to everyone at Peoples Baptist for their love and prayers.
We have claimed Joshua 1:9.
Joshua 1:9
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
What a verse for a time like this! My prayers have been with you since I first heard about it. My nephew just came thru a serious bout of acute lymphatic cancerfound at the base of his neck in the back where allthe nerve endings meet. It was obviously imoperable because of the location. but as he went thru treatment, my sister asked the Lord for a verse ea. day and wrote it on his white board. Much prayer and he is in complete remission. Dr.s say they are dumbfounded. They have never seen anything like this! God does hear and He answers prayer!
ReplyDeleteYou don't know us but we and our church family at Parkers Chapel Freewill Baptist Church are praying for you. I went through the trial of a young mother of one of my students coming down with leukemia this past school year. She had some infections with no explanations but she pulled through each time. Hope this will be an encouragement to you. We are strengthened by your strong faith.
