Wave That Hanky

We had a preacher friend, who's in heaven now, that whenever he would get excited in a service would start waving his handkerchief. We loved watching him. He wasn't afraid or ashamed to show his excitement over what Jesus had done for him.

There's been times in church services, we would hear a song that touched our hearts or the preacher would preach a good truth from the Word of God and we wanted to wave a hanky. I would always whisper to Jerry - wave your hanky. He would just look at me and smile.

Well don't be surprised if you see us waving our hanky sometime. The Lord is so good to us. He blesses us more than we'll ever deserve.

Also, keep that pew in the fifth row on the right (or is it the left?) reserved, because we'll be back.

Jerry's white count is .6 again today, but the platelets and red blood count is rising. Still waiting on the white count.

We love you and thanks again so much for your prayers, love, and support.

  2. Mr and Mrs Rice,

Again we are encouraged after reading your comments today. I think that your and Dr. Rice's positive attitudes are so encouraging. We have a great GOD and he has promised to meet our needs and take care of us if we will only believe and listen to him. We are praying for you and we love the both of you. We are holding your seats on the row in front of us.

    Love,

    Carroll, Kathy and Joseph Oakes
